Speakeasy

The opening hit of neroli and Spanish lemon is sharp and bright, but the rum and tobacco leaf in the base keep it warm on the skin for hours. I’ve worn it to work and out at night, and the clary sage gives it just enough intrigue without being overpowering.

The peppercorn and rum hit immediately, sharp and boozy, but the tobacco leaf and vanilla settle in so smoothly after an hour that I keep sniffing my own wrist. Lasts a solid six hours on my skin without turning cloying.

The dry-down is where this one shines—the tobacco leaf and vanilla melt into something warm and almost boozy, but it never gets too sweet. I caught myself sniffing my wrist hours later, which never happens with samples.
